Birket Engineering is a control systems integrator, specializing in themed entertainment, attractions, and specialty applications. We design, build, and integrate custom control solutions that power rides, shows, and immersive environments. Our equipment can be found in every Universal Studios and Walt Disney Company park worldwide.
From ride and show control systems to life-safety integration, specialty lighting, and embedded hardware and software, we engineer reliable systems that perform where it matters most. Glenn’s attractions career began in Operations at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, while an engineering student at the University of Central Florida. Glenn would later become Walt Disney Imagineering’s Electronic Engineering Ride Group Leader, leaving WDI after the opening of EPCOT to found Birket Engineering in 1984.
Steve has worked in the themed entertainment industry continuously since high school, first as a performer and lead at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, and later as a project manager for Universal Creative and Walt Disney Imagineering. Steve enjoys connecting Birket Engineering to new projects and opportunities.
Possibly the world’s most experienced attraction control system hardware engineer, Marcial has been with Birket Engineering from the beginning. His designs and practical solutions continue to influence every project.
Ed supervises all financial management and administrative operations for Birket and has overseen the company’s expansion for almost twenty-five years. His previous positions have been with ITT, TOLD Corporation and Universal Creative. Ed holds a BS from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and has earned the Certified Management Accountant designation.
Jerry is responsible for portfolio management of Birket Engineering’s worldwide projects. Sharing his time between the company’s US and Asia offices, Jerry maintains continuity and consistency of company processes and communication. Jerry provides leadership to the project teams at a strategic level, while overseeing management decisions to ensure Birket projects succeed on time and within budget.
Ray has led domestic and international projects management, resulting in successful, profitable new product launches, on time and within budget. He has hands-on management experience with notable contributions as an operations leader, production leader and program leader.
