Dr.
Short has consulted extensively on overseas and domestic networked
entertainment projects, has authored, designed and successfully marketed
over twenty video game titles, and holds three patents for distributed
network processes. He designed the network and software for the
EnchantWaysTM system.
Among Dr. Short's accomplishments:
- Software Engineer, E.T. Adventure
Goodbye System, Universal Studios Japan and Florida.
- Developed automation for prosthetics
production system enabling machinists to select correct molds during
the manufacturing process and track mold usage availability.
- Developed software allowing hospitals
to transmit patient data to the production plant to manufacture custom
braces, enabling the manufacture of finished goods within
minutes after the doctor enters patient information.
- Developed from concept an internal
property management site for exclusive use by real estate agent using
Microsoft.NET technologies.
- Developed real-time multi-player
network game supporting 10,000 players on the internet. Oversaw 25
employees, 15 remote staff in Japan and a $1.9M budget.
- Developed AT&T's Multimedia
Designer, managed 30 programmers. Oversaw $12M annual budget.
