AN EXCITING WATER EXPEDITION THROUGH THE RUINS OF POMPEII

At the beginning of the experience, guests are invited by an archaeologist to tour a section of ruins that throughout the years has become flooded by natural springs. Volcanic ash has been dug away to reveal remnants of buildings and several artifacts from everyday life at the site of the archeological dig.

Guests continue through these treasures of antiquity, amid chatter of the archaeologists over an abandoned radio. The researchers are discussing increased seismic activity deep within Vesuvius. A seismograph on the table confirms their concerns as the needle jumps sporadically.

Crossing an unstable bridge, guests hear a distant rumble. The bridge trembles beneath them. As guests enter the first building, a tremendous rumbling and explosions are heard. The emergency lights flicker on and off and swing from the force of an earthquake. Mount Vesuvius has erupted again and guests are now trapped within the ruins! The journey continues with other adventures and a surprise ending.
